Dear St. Katharine of Siena School Families,
Our 2nd grade's School Mass was beautiful yesterday morning. If you are ever looking for an upbeat, feel good, communal prayer experience, try to get to a school mass. The next one is May 25th at 9 am.
It seems like we just had ashes on Ash Wednesday and now here is Holy Week. Yesterday our 7th and 8th grade were visited for the 2nd time by two guest speakers from The Culture Project. The talk was on human sexuality. It's a topic we need to prepare our older students for as adolescents.
The 8th grade performed the Living Stations one more time for the members of the Aberdeen Club (senior citizens). They loved the reverent reenactment of the Passion.
There are a ton of pictures below showing recent events here at school and I remain grateful for the constant support we receive from our SKS Families. I love walking around school daily seeing our many gracious volunteers at Reading Circle, Lunch, Computers , Go Run and the Library to name a few places. Thank you.
A Blessed and Holy Easter to you and your families, as I wish you peace and joy in celebrating the Resurrection.
Take care,
Bud
